Potistika is a heavenly, sandy beach on the Aegean coast of southeastern Pelion, just 7 klm east of Argalasti, the area's capital village, and about 3 klm from Xinovrisi, an adorable little village seemingly trapped in a time warp as it is practically untouched by modern living. Potistika is just a picture postcard beach, beautiful and virgin, literally unspoilt as it has few concessions to tourism, namely no permanently resident population, limited accommodation for rent and 3 only eating establishments. It is surrounded by south Pelion's characteristic soft rolling hills covered with olive groves interspersed with the occasional fruit orchard. Potistika beach is suitable for sea and sun worshippers of all ages and seekers of peace and quiet.
