SAILING
Most sailing is done from or in and around the Pagastikos Gulf . The main base for this is in Millina Village in the South of Pelioin.

SHOPPING
Shopping on the Pelion peninsula is quite restricted both for the resident and the holiday-maker. There is a limited amount of souvenirs that one can buy. The most authentic gifts are the 'sweets of the spoon' (preserves made from local fruit and even vegetables). They can be recognised from the beautiful array of colourful glass jars artfully displayed at the women's co-operative at Zagora and Anilios or at road-side stalls and shops all over Pelion.

SKOPELOS
Family accommodation to rent in Skopelos with a swimming pool. www.villa-skopelos.co.uk

SPELLING
The Pelion visitor will notice that some road signs display the same place name in two or even three different spellings in English but he ought not to be discouraged by it. Also, we would like to point out that this has been a problem during the construction of our site. For technical reasons we decided to use two slightly different spellings in some cases: eg. Tsagarada/Tsangarada Pelion/Pilion. For more information on the rendition of Greek words into English go to: LANGUAGE.
