A small, delightful village 3 klm west of Milies. A little community without all the usual tourist distractions. Yet, Vizitsa is a much visited place because it constitutes the showcase of Pelion architecture thanks to the Greek Tourist Board entering it into a project for the restoration and preservation of traditional architecture. The result was more than what one would have bargained for. The visitor can see the old mansions in their past splendor and glory. Most are used as guest houses, offering in this way an opportunity to the tradition and culture minded visitor to stay in a decor and general environment reminiscent of life in the olden days and thus have a lasting memory of historicity.
